Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We’re told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Murphy starred in such films as “Clueless,” “8 Mile,” and “Don’t Say a Word.”

Wow… I am stunned. I have always thought Brittany to be one of the more beautiful women in Hollywood. She was always fun to watch on the Late Night Talk Shows, like David Letterman. I still have the 2001 edition of Maxim Magazine that she was on the cover of. It has been interesting to read of her husband, Simon Monjack being hospitalized after leaving Puerto Rico where Britanny was filming The Caller. Then to read of her being fired from the movie. Something just doesn’t add up. In any case, Brittany who has played parts in Clueless, Sin City, Girl Interrupted and was the voice of Gloria in Happy Feet and Luanne Platter on King of the Hill, will be greatly missed.
