Great. More scandal and corruption. What happened to honor? As can be seen in the US political game, it was lost years ago. “What difference at this point does it make anyway?” Well… lots, really. We have changed from a Country of Honor to one of corruption, scandal and where “the ends justify the means”. Who needs rule of law when you have friends in high places?

Universal income is an interesting concept to replace welfare, at a “fair” level where everyone recieves something, enough to sustain a livable life. But what of families, etc.. how does the amount get determined? Food for thought. Even as a Conservative, I cannot say I would be against it.. if it were paid out to everyone, but everyone still has that opportunity to excel and earn more in order to create a more interesting life for oneself and family.
