My thoughts: Simply put, this sentence (near the end of the article) is in poor taste: “The committee’s Republican roster includes several members with a nose for camera lights: Senator Ted Cruz of Texas,”. The NYT writer (surely not a journalist!) thinks he is witty. But I think his biased showed, loud and clear. I guess I should expect as much. It IS the NYT.
