Why do people hate the truth? The answer is simple. Accountability. The truth requires one to be accountable to themselves.
It is easier to lie than to hold oneself accountable.
However… while we are free to make our choices, we do not get to choose the consequence of our choices. That is where accountability forces it’s hand.
