If your sex, gender, race, ethnicity, religion or nationality is not represented in an ad for a product, does that offend you?
Obviously, certain products require a specific demographic to be represented. And certain demographics should not be depicted in certain situations, and/or with certain products. However certain products or situations can be generic and not specific to any demographic. Should great care be taken to represent all demographics in those generic situations or can we just accept people represent people?
