Mad Men: The End of an Era
Its’ been a fascinating seven seasons. Having worked in broadcast radio and being involved in the creative process of copywriting for radio commercials I have enjoyed the creative content of the show. Of course, the creative process of making ads (mostly magazine, then TV) was only a portion of the show, but the small insights the show gave were certainly real enough to keep me watching.
The writing, the story line and the character interaction was bar none. The costumes and set design were impeccable. They certainly made me long for an era long gone by.
Tonight we will bid adieu to Don Draper, Roger Sterling, Peggy Olsen and Pete Campbell. Life will not be the same without them. It truly is the end of an era.
